4. Bloodlands - this is Yale History Professor Timothy Snyder. The subject isn't for the faint of heart - this is a very sad and disturbing history of the murder of 14,000,000 people - each one of whom was a different person who lived a different life and therefore died a different death - by the Nazi and Stalin regimes between 1933 and 1945. One of the best books I have read in a long time, it is very profound and provocative - and will require further reading to try to grasp the enormity of its message.

ReplyDeleteSo based on this video Tony Blair's sister -in -law is a Muslim. She finds it just to kill Jews, based on the revisionstic Arab narrative that the Jews were never a part of the Middle Eastern landscape. This is not freedom of speech when lies are spread and are intended for the purpose of spreading hatred. Why hasn't she been challenged in court? Why hasn't she been arrested? Why doesn't she tell the truth about Sharia law and their abysmal treatment of women? Wonder too why her head isn't covered up as well as her mouth?

Can someone contact this group to teach our own Haligonian students how to set up booths, etc... we need to get organized people and must do something pro-active. N'est pas?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous - you are right, and while there are several extremely nasty things I would like to say to that lying useful idiot Ms. Booth, I think it prudent not to actually put them into print - but take the worst, nastiest and meanest thoughts you can have about someone, and then multiply them by 100 and you'll get the idea of what i think of her and the people she runs with.
