1. And If So, The Well Done - 'Mossad may have killed Mabhouh' and BBC News - Hamas military commander 'assassinated in Dubai'. One more dead terrorist is a very good thing - now go get Hassan Nasrallah (who hasn't put his head above ground since the end of the Second Lebanon War) and Samir Kuntar - those bastards do not deserve to die a natural death in their own bed. Unfortunately, there are lots of targets.

2. Get Every Last One of Them - Here's my position on Nazi war criminals who are still alive. I could not care less how old they are, how infirm they might be, how much they may have changed since the war - hunt every single last one of them down and bring them to trial - though to be frank, it would not bother me if they had an accident while in custody - like falling down the stairs 100 times in a row - gee, those stairs are slippery. Age, infirmity or character never mattered to the Nazis - so turnabout is more than fair play. Think of the Al Capone analogy - it doesn't matter how you get him off the street (tax evasion instead of murder), just that you get him off the street (he died in prison from complications from syphilis). 5. What Is The Name Of That Country? - Oh yeah, Iran.

6. This Deserves Special Attention - Preceding World War II, Siemens was involved in funding the rise of the Nazi Party and the secret rearmament of Germany. During the Second World War, Siemens supported the Hitler regime, contributed to the war effort and participated in the "Nazification" of the economy. Siemens had many factories in and around notorious concentration camps to build electric switches for military uses. In one example, almost 100,000 men and women from Auschwitz worked in a Siemens factory inside the camp, supplying the electricity to the camp. The Siemens logo is still visible above the gas chambers at Buchenwald concentration camp.

So despite all that, and whatever efforts they made at restitution since the end of the War, they see no problem in dealing with Iran and have to be shamed into renouncing its business ties with that terrible dictatorship.

I guess that it takes a lot to trump the almighty dollar.

12. I Love This - Prank gone wrong!! Here's the background:

OLATHE, Kan. (AP) -- A Kansas high school basketball coach whose blindfolded half-court shot became an Internet sensation will be going to the Final Four after all.

Joel Branstrom says he can't disclose where the tickets are coming from. But he said Wednesday he's been told he and his family will get tickets, lodging and transportation to Indianapolis for the games in April.

Branstrom, a former University of Kansas walk-on, went along with what was supposed to be a prank last week during a pep rally at Olathe Northwest High School, where he also teaches biology.

Students who set up the prank and promised the basketball tickets were shocked when he made the blindfolded shot -- especially since they didn't have any tickets.

Remembering the Shoah (the Holocaust)

Today is the 65th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest, and probably the most notorious of the Nazi death camps. In 2005, the United Nations General Assembly designated this day as International Holocaust Remembrance Day (IHRD), an annual day of commemoration to honor the victims of the Nazi era. Every member nation of the U.N. has an obligation to honor the memory of Holocaust victims and develop educational programs as part of an international resolve to help prevent future acts of genocide. The U.N. resolution that created IHRD rejects denial of the Holocaust, and condemns discrimination and violence based on religion or ethnicity.

Accordingly, today's blog posting is dedicated to the commemoration of the Shoah.
