Dry Bones - I often post cartoons by the Israeli cartoonist "Dry Bones" - his real name is Yaakov Kirschen - because they are so witty and often illustrate a serious point in a moment as well as could an exhaustively researched article that would take an hour to read and digest.     The fact that the Gallilee rape occured is indeed tragic, as is the fact that he was incarcerated with hardened criminals. Juxtapose this with the Canadian youths who urinated on the Veteran's memorial in Ottawa; they were merely verbally reprimanded. All the facts are however not in. Troy did not explain why that youth did not pee indoors or who reported him and why. The fact that he has a troublesome past is telling so there has to be more to this story that Gil Troy neglected to post. The point is that the story without context is inflammatory and one sided. I object to sensational stories that take sides without investigating all the facts about all of the principles involved including the parents of this lad who regrettably did not find him some psychological help beforehand. He has been acting out for a long time according to one reader and the real tragedy may be that his needs were neglected. The state is not excused but neither should the parents be. AS.
