I am not sure that I understand Fulford's point.Your comment about "What is with this" makes me wonder too why some aging (Jewish) hippies still support the left wing politics of Naomi Klein. The fact that the Vietnam War spurred a spate of radicals who later evolved into right wing supporters seems to be paradoxical however what is alarming is that they got away with violent crimes in the name of just cause.
