Monday, May 30, 2011 - US Memorial Day Edition

In the same way that I make a point to remember those who died fighting against the Nazis as partisans and in the Canadian military, as well as those who have died to protect the State of Israel, it is entirely fitting to remember the war dead of America.

3. Memorial Day #3 -

6. Hey Buddy, Would You Mind Having A Word With The President? - France calls for 'agreed upon' solution... JPost - Diplomacy & Politics

7. Quick, While They're Not Looking!! Take out their nukes! Iran in uproar over 'Israeli fruit' - Israel Business, Ynetnews

12. Kishinev Pogrom - from the great Israeli poet Chaim Nachman Bialik - Pajamas Media - The City of Slaughter:
"Indeed, many actually facilitate the process. Elhanan Yakira in his important 2010 book,
Post-Zionism, Post-Holocaust, transfers Bialik’s thesis into the contemporary milieu, speaking passionately about “the participation of Jews and Israelis in the anti-Zionist campaign,” which he regards as “in effect…annihilationist,” as a position characterized by “ignorance, bad faith, or malice” adopted by a “community of opprobrium.” It is nothing short of a “moral disaster” perpetrated by the descendants of Bialik’s colony of submissives who today have transformed the acceptance of victimhood into the disparagement of their own."

16. Hypocrisy #3 - this is as plain as day....
