Funny how the Obamination promised that the US would not intefere with the policies and negotiations of foreign nations and yet Abbas blatantly is directing him to pressure Israel to return to the 1967 borders. Last night Mitchell was quoted saying that Israel did not do enough. So what happned to not interfering with the politics and policies of autnomous nations? A.S.
ReplyDeleteRegarding military discipline, clearly the Israeli people voted for Netanyahu and Lieberman. The voice of democracy spoke that ceding land for peace did not work and removing the settlers from Gaza was one mistake too many. The author fails to recognize that the Americans are pressuring the leadership ergo the Israeli's, to go against their will. Their refusal to comply with American demands presents no conflict and sends the Americans and the Palestinians a clear message to take a flying leap.
