Today was one of those rare days in Halifax where people complain about the heat - better not complain! Anyway, here is a limited edition blog for today - blame the heat!

Why did the President not offer an unsolicited opinion on this matter - Bob Dylan a complete unknown in New Jersey town. Dylan's fame puts that of Gates to shame - I guess the difference is that he is "cooler" than Gates.

Worthy columns and editorials notwithstanding, you see, it's not what the US president isn't saying directly to us that's most worrying for Israelis. It's what the Palestinian leadership is saying, to its own people and to anyone else who's listening: far too much that is deeply troubling, and far too little that engenders good faith.
